About Suni
Before your first class, get to know me a little better and see how Yoga with Suni is not your usual sort of class.

I'm passionate about helping people manage the hard stuff.
I've spent over 20 years as a psychologist and therapist helping people through the difficulties life brings. Whether it's anxiety, depression, life changes and being human with all that life brings. I worked for a while with military personnel, helping to transition back to civilian life and in Women's Health supporting women with cancer, fertility and relationships.
18 months ago, two of my best friends were diagnosed with breast cancer and I wanted to do everything I could to support them. Seeing their daily mental, emotional and physical struggles with treatment and the diagnosis process and how tough the side effects were that they were coping with.
We talked about the benefits of yoga for cancer, but they couldn't find this service locally - so, off I went to do the training! I guessed if they were struggling to find yoga for cancer support at this tricky time; then others must be as well.

Yoga is a holistic approach to managing the hard things.
It's a great toolkit for managing anxiety, trauma, burnout as well as the physical side effects of cancer or for recovery after huge physical exertion, like a Tough Mudder, Ultra Marathon, Hyrox or Marathon (insert other tough fitness challenge here!)
Yoga can help with managing fatigue and tiredness, anxiety, peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness), movement restriction from scar tissue, pain, sickness, low moods and conditions like lymphedema.
